Gleons has three modes: PC Sync (mirrors screen colors to LEDs in real-time), Theme Presets (animated patterns like Wave, DNA, Rainbow, Fire, Aurora), and Music Sync (LEDs react to music — bass pulses, rhythm waves, and more).

Theme Presets are animated LED patterns. Choose from Wave, DNA, Rainbow, Fire, Ice, Aurora, Pulse, Lightning and more. Each preset creates a unique lighting effect — perfect for setting the mood without screen sync.

Music Mode listens to your audio (any source) and reacts in real-time. Choose from presets like Bass Pulse, Frequency Bars, Rhythm Wave, Vocal Glow, and DJ Strobe. The LEDs pulse, flash, and wave in sync with your music.

This is a color order issue. Click the 'Test Colors' button in the app, then change the 'LED Type' dropdown until Red shows as red. Most strips use GRB or RGB order.

Gleons supports up to 500 LEDs. The default setup comes with 120 LEDs which is perfect for most monitors.

For movies use 30-40 FPS, for gaming use 60 FPS, for casual use 30 FPS is plenty. Higher FPS uses more CPU. Start at 30 and increase if you want smoother transitions.

Lower the Target FPS to 30, close unnecessary background apps, and make sure you're using a reasonably modern CPU. Screen capture is naturally CPU-intensive.
